Houston got hit with the Memorial day flood in 2015, Tax day flood in 2016, and Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Harvey dumped over 40 inches of rain. The only difference for us is that the topography meant that velocity of our flash flooding wasn't as severe as yalls. I feel for everyone. It's just...
aw. ok. i've seen the brand Muley Freak but didn't really know anything about it. i'll definitely not be supporting now. throw him on the pile with Bowmar and Christ Brackett.
also, it's been mentioned but worth repeating. work on your marriage as well. the phrase the kids come first is a lie. your relationship with your wife is just as important as the kids.
when my wife was pregnant with our first, someone told me "the days are long but the weeks and months are short". you won't quite understand that for a while. but, eventually you will.
our surprise number 3 is 2 weeks old. i'm trying to remember that phrase right now. lmao.
did not realize pork fat went rancid faster. we usually burn through our stuff within a year and a half. i don't usually premix my grind either. but, good info.
Just did a quick calculation Texas vs Idaho. $150,000 salary. $500,000 house. online shows Idaho property taxes are 0.49%. I've owned houses in several cities in Texas. average of those houses has been 2.78% (my brother's rate is 3.6% for reference).
taking the 150K and 500K houses. Texan pays...
Bow sights are way, way overpriced. For that reason, I think used Spot Hoggs are the best route. Rock solid. Last for a long, long time. You can resell later for a solid price.
just gives more money to the state. Texas is well on its way to destroying ourselves. 8.25% sales tax. property taxes are generally over 3% and the appraisal districts just keep ratcheting up the values.
there is supposed to be a 3.5% cap on rate increases. anything over that is supposed to go...
I'd try and buy 2 250 and 2 300 spine arrows. get them cut and set up. shoot and see which is better. your tech is wrong. you are underspined which makes me wonder about the rest of his work to fix the issues.
are you saying the bow is tilting backwards from the top or tilting to the side? if it's tilting backwards, its nothing to worry about. as long as the string is going back straight, it will level out on its own.
Been over this a couple of times. I like Chris Bee generally. But, he 100% got caught up in marketing his new arrows, and I say his because my guess is he either has a little equity in UV or his contract is such that he gets a percentage of sales.
He took a very poor shot on that first old...
