If you like airplanes the Udvar-Hazy Center is amazing. Its kind of a haul to get out there from Alexandria but totally worth it.
My favorite international food is Ethiopian. Its been a while since I've lived there but there used to be some great spots in the district.
Pre-dawn coffee is a tolerable instant.
If we have time for good coffee we do pour-over.

1up is probably the best of the mainstream popular racks (Thule/Yakima), but for the things most of us do and places we go ALTA Racks is the best out there right now.

For smaller amounts I use a very large glass or plastic mixing bowl and a wooden spoon. If blending three or four one pounders I put it in the largest glass mason jars with the powder name and blend date clearly marked, and store in a dark closet.
