    Also, I think 400 is a little short to velocity true. At 400 a .1 mil is like 50fps different. At 700 it’s like 10fps. Only reason I’m replying is I shoot that bullet a lot from a 16” and would love to get 2900. But my rifle would probably blow up.

    Your favorite hunting knife?

    Number 8 scalpel handle with 70a havalon blades (the blunt tipped ones. Safer and thicker). Then some sort of small fixed blade or folder as edc or camp chore knife. I like fidgeting with a folder when I’m bored in camp or glassing. Also a mini Leatherman in the possibles kit.

    You can get them on Amazon for less than $10. Get the #8 scalpel handle. The also come in an all stainless variety. They will fit inside the plastic Havalon blade case as well, but I usually just rubber band a few extra blades in their foil packs to the handle and throw in my kill kit.

    I chopped my t3x to 18” and threaded 5/8-24 and used the cgs adapter. Wish I didn’t need the adapter but the shoulder seems too small to use direct. It goes inside the taper of the can. In the future with new barrels I’ll do what @Formidilosus suggests above.

    I have the Optimus micro too. It’s pretty quiet but does have high back pressure on an 556 AR. People hate on it bc it’s heavy for a .22 can. But you won’t notice the difference.

    I’m liking my Hyp K. Ive been running it on a 6.5CM T3X. Also very low back pressure on my 16” 556 AR. Even using the normal end cap. I couldn’t find my brass as I was used to looking for them at 2 o’clock. Took my awhile until I realized it was ejecting them at 4-430.

    Hi. I’ve found a decently priced blued t3x lite. My question is should I just pony up for the stainless version? In other words, what am I missing out by going blued vs stainless? I know stainless is supposed to be better at corrosion but I’ve heard the tikka stainless is prone to rust anyway...
