I always take a nicer tent and leave in the truck
I typically put more tools than needed behind the seat. I’ve even taken my small floor jack that is in a case. It’s heavy but makes quick work on a flat for the truck or trailer
Also, I keep a full size pillow to take a nap on the road

I made the mistake last year on a hike by attaching it to my pack shoulder straps with a carabiner. After the first day the face was all scratched up.
Good ideas above that would work better

We are in between Spring Creek and San Jac river. Fortunately we are on high ground as well.
Spring Creek has swallowed a couple of neighborhoods close to us. Pretty much every way in or out is under water.

Air cargo is the way to go. Most airlines/ airports will have a cargo desk.
I would suggest freezing the meat if possible. You can use dry ice but you are limited in how much you can use.
