TSS is great stuff. I handload my stuff. My little 20ga M2 is a joy to carry around vs the old blocky 12ga ive used in the past. Some of this doesnt matter to everyone but i cover a lot of ground in rough terrain in the eastern mountains and it works great for me.
I pay $235 to hunt a...
For easy cheap fun the bottles are easy to use and work fine. Get a cheap recurve, some arrows and have fun. Seriously, dont overthink it.
I had a big boat with a custom platform and lights, generator, invertors, osprey bow, etc. Lots of fun was had with that rig.
I killed a bull a few years ago with a silverback release, only after losing my nock 2 it a couple days before. I was not in a great position to use back tension and everything happened fast, so when i let off the safety the bow went off. I knew this was likely and had the pin where i wanted...
I would try to keep it closer to a simmer than a boil in my experiences. I use dawn to help get the fat/oil out of it. Pressure wash every 30-45 min. Once clean you can coat in Mop&Glo to whiten

I do love the Double...
I was thinking gen 2 because I sold my shape charge to go with a stronger frame for packing meat on day hunts. I really liked my shape charge and the layout it had.

Man, I know they are expensive vs traditional loads, but your only shooting a couple times a year at turkeys and i just dont think there is a better load for turkeys than a good TSS setup. In your case with no Lead option i thinks its a no brainer.
My 20ga M2 does ok with a 1 5/8oz handload...
Ive made the trip to GA public a couple times. First trip we hunted within an hour or so of Atlanta and got very lucky to walk in on a ridge that had some birds. My buddy killed a jake and i killed a tom on that trip. The next trip we went to SE GA because of bad weather in the northern part...
