    Bugle Report

    Central Montana last night called in a small bull and a big mature bull, all within the last 30 minutes of light. Couldn't get a good shot off, the big bull was going nuts.

    We killed 2 bulls and 1 cow last year, walked up on all three of them in the dark, all three on separate days. The year before I arrowed my bull with about 10 minutes of shooting like too. Can't bet against those odds.

    If there are no cows, there's a good chance those bulls will be gone after the second or third week in August. That has always been my experience in the places I have hunted, good luck.
