    I think the leather looks fine. I usually have holes in the leather or the seams have ripped long before the sole goes bad. Those boots don't look bad at all

And the standard is a cross bolt/ eject so i assume they weren't production models. But neither have factory barrels on them. And one is stamped...

    I think the exo bags carry a little small for their posted sizes. I used the 5000 for 2 seasons and it was barely big enough for a weeks worth of food. Compared to my friends 5000 eberlestock bag is seems like he could pack twice as much stuff in his. I just upgraded to the terretrorn.

    Last year we kept a ruger takedown in the truck. Ended up shooting a couple grouse with it. But for backpacking I wouldn't carry a rifle. Get yourself a taurus tx22 pistol. Cheap, and they shoot well. Mine will cycle the Aguila subsonics. But struggled with the fragmenting cci subbies.
