    Saddle as a safety harness

Regardless of whether you use a traditional FBH, saddle or RCH, everyone should be practiced and prepared for self rescue. That may be as simple as never climbing without a lineman's rope that could quickly be fashioned into a tether with a footloop to either recover or descend when paired with...

I dont understand the hostility towards wolf reintroduction in Colorado

Since you said you were from Florida, maybe you should take a look at the everglades as another example of how to f'up an ecosystem with the introduction of a non-native apex predator. People turned their pythons loose and look at what has happened there. In the case of CO, the wolf is just a...

Precision Tuning for the Diehard Bowhunter -The Push

100% agree with the exception of wood arrows. With woodies for me it is easier to pick the front weight then right back to what you said. The arrow will tell you what the bow needs.

    Instinctive shooting

I can identify with this. I shoot 3 under against the bottom nock at 25 and there is a gap that I recognize but dont aim with. I have a crawl that covers 16-23 where the gap basically the same as the one at 25. So for shots from 16-25 the shot picture looks almost exactly the same. 15 and in is...

    Is traditional archery hunting unethical?

I look at it this way, hunting is everything that happens right up to the point the animal is within your effective range with the chosen weapon. There is where the hunt ends and the...

Arrow Length Question for Gap Shooters

Had the same mental cramp while I was playing with some different shot stuff at 50 yards. Thought I just need to shoot this split finger and proceeded to air mail one over the target by a few feet. As the arrow sailed out of sight into a giant patch of blackberry vines, I remembered. lol
