I used to keep a Ruger HSR in my truck when I worked on the ranch. Averaged just below 100 in August every year, so it was a lot hotter than that in a truck that's sat for days st a time. Never had an issue with that gun.
It was the guns america video where they interviewed Glen Seekins. Came out about two weeks ago. They go over the changes and at some point he mentioned they new chassis adds about a pound.
Another vote for Rifle Craft slings. I have at least one of each of his slings. Todd is a student of the rifle and makes a damn good sling, they can all be used as a shooting sling if needed.
Mountain House is about the best freeze dried food I've tried. Nothing I'd want to try to love on but it has its place. They are currently running a 50% off sale through their web site.
As was mentioned an LDS store is handy but they ship through their online store for just a little more also of...
I know there's plenty of Sig hate out there but I'm debating one of these or a Sig Cross in 277 Fury. The 277 would be lighter but if the reloading world can figure out full power reloads it would do everything I need for hunting.
Obviously, all reading the same.would be ideal. But how often is anyone swapping different levels onto theor gun?
If the bubble is off but it's off the same each and everytime you'd have your dope card made up with that error but it would still be consistent.
Or am I wrong in my thinking?
Look for a used fatbike. Pretty simple (even I can work on my Surly). Thentires are the suspention and you treat them like off road tires, air down for more traction, etc.
I work at one of the wildlife areas. Yes there are more muzzle hunters than there used to be but modern is still worse, by far. An hour before shooting light the green dot roads look like a freeway with all the headlights.
I'm changing areas this year. Don't know if it will make a difference or...
I bought a Gen2 in .308 for my wife. Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet but the dang thing is so light I might steal it! Hopefully soon I can get some loads worked up to try it out.
I carry a 10mm Glock most of the time outdoors. If I'm backpacking I may have a spare mag, I won't if I'm hunting. It's just extra weight. If I do get lost/attacked or whatever a 15 round mag gives me one string of SOS shots, 1 round to finish of a wounded animal (I rifle hunt) and 5 spare...
Ah, I see what you're saying now. Yes, you are correct. I thought you meant somehow reach in and reset the transfer bar by hand.
I always assumed they made the 83's that way because the original Colts had 4 clicks. The first being a safety notch (has anyone ever actually used that?). So it...
