    Best Socks for Sweaty Feet

I know they look unconventional, but don't knock them until you've tried them. Warm and dry in cold weather, but not a good choice for warm weather: https://www.wiggys.com/footwear/13-lamilite-socks/ Alpaca socks are very good too.

    Climate change...deer numbers

I think that award goes to the politicians and rich folks private jetting into their Save the Earth from Climate Change Conferences.

    Hunting with Non-Illuminated FFP

Very few of the SWFA scopes are illuminated, and roksliders use them a lot. Most of my ffp scopes are not illluminated, and I've never had it be a problem.

    Best cold weather glove.

The Kinco mittens are solid when coated with snow seal and even better when you wear a merino liner in them. No opinion on the original ones you mentioned as I've never needed anything more than the Kincos...

    Suppressor wait times

When I was filling out my paperwork on Friday with the FFL, we both agreed that it should be easier to buy a suppressor, and thereby protect one's hearing, than it is to buy a gun. Not saying that guns should be harder to purchase, but suppressors shouldn't be so hard.

    Suppressor wait times

I am a bit flabbergasted and feel like it's some kind of a setup, but I submitted my electronic paperwork on Friday, February 16th and received approval to pick up my can today, Wednesday, February 21st. Monday was a holiday of course, so it took 2 whole business days. My FFL asked if I know...

    Swarovski z5 3.5-18x44 vs Meopta Meostar R1r 3-12x56

I haven't used or seen a test on that one, and scopes at that price point that don't have exposed turrets are not likely to be tested.

    Swarovski z5 3.5-18x44 vs Meopta Meostar R1r 3-12x56

The Meopta Optika6 3-18x50 actually did quite well in a Rokslide/Form test: https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/meopta-optika6-3-18x50mm-ffp-field-evaluation.145959/ The Swaros do not have a good reputation for holding zero, tracking etc.

    Swarovski z5 3.5-18x44 vs Meopta Meostar R1r 3-12x56

If you intend to have the scope hold zero, adjust correctly, and dial for long range, I wouldn't get either one. I'd look at this Maven: https://mavenbuilt.com/collections/stock-optics/products/rs1-2-2-5-15x44-ffp A Trijicon Tenmile or Credo; or a Nightforce.

How rare is a 200 inch mule deer

This will give you a small glimpse of the deer's mass, but pics don't do the mass justice. Gross score was 211 or 213, as I recall. Brother never had it B&C scored, because he doesn't care. Don't have any other pics that don't give too much away.

How rare is a 200 inch mule deer

I am not aware of that, but I do know that the Kaibab deer intermix with the AZ Strip and Southern Utah deer herds routinely during the winter.

How rare is a 200 inch mule deer

I'm responding to the "if the deer's on private it doesn't count" remark. Forgive my ignorance, but who's T/U?

How rare is a 200 inch mule deer

But how far do you take the "private" thing? The non-typical I posted was on "private" by about 100-200 yards every day we saw him. I can guarantee that he didn't live on that ranch full-time, but was up in the mountains on public land the majority of the year. When we saw him, he was bedding...

How rare is a 200 inch mule deer

Think I’ve only seen 3 200+ in my lifetime. The first one killed by my brother in a premium unit a few years back and was probably the biggest deer in the unit. Forgive my crude attempt to redact his face. The second was this bruiser that we saw during the season 3 days in a row safely on...

    Spartan Gunsmith Adapter

Yeah, I'm not sure how well that would work, since you need the Arca and pic rail out, but recessed is the real benefit of the gunsmith adapter. I'm attracted to it, because I love shooting off a tripod with the arca Spartan adapter, but sometimes forget the little adapter and hate the Spartan...

    Spartan Gunsmith Adapter

If I were going the gunsmith adapter route, I'd give the "Trinity Rail" from Salmon River a long look. https://www.salmonriversolutions.com/product/the-trinity-rail/?attribute_fastener-option=10-32
