    Binos comparable to Swaro SLCs

Meostars are really close to the SLCs with my eyes. Kowa Genesis 10.5s are a bit better than the SLCs, in my opinion.

    6.5 creed vs 30-06

If recoil is an issue with accuracy for you at all, I'd go with the 6.5.

Benelli M2 Field has been fantastic for me.

One item you wish you carried sooner?

I like to keep a few extra nitrile gloves in a ziplock bag with my tp or wet wipes and use them for my wiping hand when backcountry #2s happen, nothing worse than having crap on your hand and nowhere to wash it.

I don't think the sale is over. Still works for me.

Conquest HD vs. Maven B5 15x56

At deer camp in Mexico this year we had the chance to have my Maven 18x56, and some friends Meopta 15x56, and the SLC 15x56 on tripods looking at the same hillside. My thoughts were that they were all very close, but that my Mavens were not quite as clear on the edges as the other two. My eyes...

Another Which Binocular Thread... Around 1k

I just returned from a Coues deer hunt where we put my Maven 18x56 on a tripod next to SLC 15s. You could definitely see a difference in edge clarity, the Swaros were just better overall. For me, I can live with the differences for the money saved. We also put 10x42 els next to my Meopta...

    What’s Next for Sako Rifles?

Love my PRC S20 Hunter too, shoots everything at .5 moa or below, love the thumbhole stock. Just bought the 6.5 CM on closeout for my boys to use, couldn't pass it up at $1099. Wish they made it in 6 CM and 7 PRC.

    What’s Next for Sako Rifles?

I have had a 6.5 PRC S20 Hunter for close to a year now, zero feed issues with 3 round or 7 round mags.

    Do Boresnakes harm rifles?

So if you handwash your snake occasionally, and keep it stored in a ziplock like I do, they're fine?

    Do Boresnakes harm rifles?

That was my thinking.....how can a fabric snake and a few soft metal bristles damage a rifle made of steel?

    Do Boresnakes harm rifles?

On a recent hunt, my friend broke out a bunch of fancy equipment to clean his custom rifle--some sort of gadget that went in the action to keep the cleaning rod aligned, a carbon fiber cleaning rod (was told not to use anything else by customer maker), no brushes and jags with patches only in...

Form's How to use that new SWFA scope

Does anyone have a copy of Form's "How to use that new SWFA scope - reticle, turrets and proper usage" with pictures saved from 24 hour campfire? Pictures on the post don't work anymore.

    Meopta optika 6

Not the exact same magnification, but you'll never find a more honest, thorough assessment of an Optika 6 than here: https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/meopta-optika6-3-18x50mm-ffp-field-evaluation.145959/

Rifle Setup: Christensen Ridgeline vs. Seekins PH2

You might review posts on here about the reliability of dialing with a Leupold and retaining zero. A rifle scope is an aiming device, not a glassing mechanism, so looking through the scope doesn't tell you much of anything about how reliably the scope will hold zero and adjust to reliably...

    25-06 and Elk

Get a 25-06 or similar speed bullet and try it. That's my recollection, but it's been a few years, it was perhaps a bit thinner than 2 inches, but not much maybe 1.5. The hole certainly narrowed from one side to the other, but it penetrated all the way through the gong. At the end of the day...
