    How much water?

Entirely terrain dependent, If going high for an extended stay where no water is, Ill hump more to the top, likewise if Im in a water a rich area I won't be carrying extra, 32oz is pretty standard though.

Last Sleeping bag you would ever buy

Lots of great offerings out there. Id look towards Western mountaineering or feathered friends both are American made. Only other piece of advice is to pay attention to the sizing (width).

Something interesting happened with my down puffy

Yea get yourself a synthetic puffy if you are going to be cooking yourself dry. Btw I do the same thing with a synthetic and has worked great for years. When I stop to glass for a long sit, BEFORE I start getting cold I throw my puffy on, doing this traps all the heat I gained and cooks my base...

Lightweight scope that dials with zero stop, does it exist?

Yes, Ive used standard hose gaskets as well as plastic shims from the guy on eBay. Either option works equally well for me.

    coyotes and foxes for fur

Oh nice, plenty of dogs down there. There are buyers down there that will buy whole carcasses so that's what I do when I go down there. There is also a 20 or 25$ bounty per dog in WY which is a nice bonus. I am a novice caller and have no problem calling in dogs in NW Wyoming, hitting them is...

    Upgrading my Foxpro, which model?

I have an older cs24 and its a great call, used to use an fx4 and wasn't terribly impressed. Id personally go with the banshee from your listed choices, my brother seems to like his banshee.

    Kimber Montana or Barrett Fieldcraft

As much as I like the aesthetics of the Kimbers (stock and 3 pos safety) I have to say my 6.5 fieldcraft was and is the easiest rifle I've ever setup and shot to date. Slapped a 3-9 swfa on it and it flat out shoots. I cannot say the same for the 3 kimbers Ive handled, they all needed something...

    Tire chains

All new vehicles are a no go on chains for the front ends per the owners manual... which is just BS lawyer talk to cover themselves. Yes new stock vehicles have less clearance on the front ends. The solution is buy some "S" class chains for the front and some heavy duty ones for the rear. For...

Dall Sheep Spotting Scope & Camera

My hunting partner has that 65 televid with a 1.8 extender, the extender works pretty well if atmospheric conditions are good. Might be a good addition to your kit.

Dall Sheep Spotting Scope & Camera

If I were in your shoes and strictly in that budget Id wait and watch the classifieds for a used swaro. I am currently using a Kowa 663M and it works well enough, seen a few used ones for sale recently as well. Also Im a big fan 60x, less will but Ive never wished for less magnification. As for...
