    Suppressor purchase from Silencer Central

@5811 posted the full procedure document, as he pointed out. Read it paying particular attention to #8 and #9 in the "Procedure" section. For those that don't want to open and read the full document, I will post that section here. 8. Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 922(c)(2) and 27 CFR 478.96(b), the...

    UM Custom Rifles - Reviews

You say this like it is a bad thing. I have been in the service industry for a very long time and one thing I have learned over the years is that you are not going to make everyone happy. I have also learned that the customer is not always right and that sometimes you have to fire a...

    UM/S2H/Suppressors/Scopes and More!

Ok, I guess I missed all the good stuff already, but after reading through the responses in regards to "tone" and whatnot, I figured I would inject a bit of actual science to the discussion as it seems that some don't have a firm understanding of how sound works. First, sound travels in a wave...

    Dope help

Published BC and actual BC don't always match up (just ask long range hammer users). I would adjust your velocity up in the app, and then verify at multiple distances. If it is on, then roll with it.

So, educate me Dave. You came here and insulted my reading comprehension ability so I am asking you to explain to me how what I posted was wrong.

    UM/S2H/Suppressors/Scopes and More!

Here is a quick video that explains how Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) works. It doesn't show a suppressor being made, but it explains the process being used.

    UM/S2H/Suppressors/Scopes and More!

By "crap" you mean actually going out into the world and putting the work in to see what works and what doesn't rather than just dreaming up random BS and trying to convince people that it is somehow "better"? Things that come to mind where the "crap being force fed to the masses" is being...

Fragmenting bullets versus controlled expanding bullets

I will offer a bit of advice in the form a quote from one of my favorite authors. “It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.” ― Thomas Sowell

Really, you are the only one capable of reading comprehension? So, tell me, Dave, did you read the posts I quoted below? If you did, and you are still sticking by your notion that what SC does is not required, then either 1) you actually are not capable of reading comprehension, or 2) you are...

    1000-1700 yard target rifle

Clean and degrease your action screws and screw holes. Reassemble with the proper torque, blue loctite, and a bit of nail polish on the screw heads. That will solve the issue of them coming loose. As for the rest of your post, I can't help you because all I shoot are sissy guns.

WTS 260 Rem Remage barreled action, Alpha brass, Stockys stock

Realized I didn't attach the barrel invoice to the original post. This has been fixed now. Will take Tikkas in trade if someone is local and wants to swap.

    Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

You are absolutely right, which is why I always recommend against a "do-all" can. The Alaskan was can #8 for me and is used exclusively on my 338 Sherman Mega and my CZ75 comp gun.

Do you even read the responses, or are you just not capable of understanding what is being written?

    Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

I have the non-Ti version. I know that the thread on here says it sucks, but my opinion is that people were expecting too much from it. It is a large bore can that is 1.6" in diameter and 6.6 inches in length (DT config). As always in the suppressor game, volume is key to suppression. A bit...

    Why no 123gr 6.5CM factory offerings ?

The question was why doesn't anyone have factory ammo offerings with lighter bullets. Yes, range shooters have driven the heavy bullet mentality and also range shooter shoot more than your average hunter, so who are you going to tailor your supply to? Also, "heavy" in this case means 140+...

    Mcgowen Barrel Reviews

I will add another one. I bought a used 6.5-06AI from Justin Crossley off of the classifieds here. It is a 19", fluted, cerakoted, and threaded Tikka prefit from McGowan. The bad: The chamber is a bit rough and a touch long, and as such, I do get clickers every once in a while and I have to...

WTS 260 Rem Remage barreled action, Alpha brass, Stockys stock

Up for sale is my 260 Remington Remage barreled action w/bottom metal. The reason I am selling is that after I built it, I stumbled on a killer deal for a used Tikka T3x Lite SS chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor at my local Cabelas/BPS. I bought it to be a donor, but I made the mistake of shooting it...

    1/2x28 to 5/8 Adpater

I have a Downrange Products one on my 6.5-06 AI barrel. I put it on with red loctite. Here is a 5-shot 100-yard group I shot with it today while doing load development. The can is a Harvester EVO.
