    Agree. Prefer a half zip for 2nd layer. I like the zip length of the original ambient. My third layer, a Kenai Hooded, full zip of course but I do prefer a pullover for 2nd.

    your 6.5 CM/elk experience

    Interesting read. I shoot a 7mm Rem and previous a 30-06,....been considering going smaller to drop some rifle weight. Buddy of mine shot a cow moose with 6.5cm at 200, quick kill. Shot placement king as always. But appreciate hearing these real world examples.

    I'm not sure I can get into the politics or the financials of this, but as a resident of CO building elk points, I'm happy for the change and hoping it slows resident point creep just a bit. Perhaps now I can go on my trophy elk hunt in 2030 instead of 2031 😂
