    Grid fleece comparison

They're built in, and better than the thumb holes on my first lite gear and sitka since that hide when not in use. They're a little big but honestly they work It's a lighter material similar to the Sitka midweight or Simms grid fleece but I genuinely like it and am impressed. If it had a...

Is the Sitka Ambient a must have?

I love combining the heavy hoody and the ambient for deer hunting in cold weather... that combo is fantastic!

The original victory rip is really dang good

I was just broadhead tuning with my .006 rips and I couldn't get one to hit outside of the middle at 75 yards. I might hunt with the .006s this fall. I've never not run at least .003 or .001 for broadheads but they're shooting so good I might just give it a go. They must be straighter than...

    Grid fleece comparison

Tried the eberlestock pioneer hooded grid fleece and it's really damn good boys. It's lighter than the sitka heavyweight but the fit is spot on just like the heavyweight and the hood doesn't zip onto my face. I'd say its in my top 3 of the ones I've tried so far and they're on sale right now...

    SG Xcurve- great CS experience

If it does I think you'll love that pack setup. Such a great size! And if the xcurve frame doesn't work for you, call SG and they will help you get it right. My next pack will likely be another SG after the positive experiences I've had with them. The CS team their deserves a huge shoutout

Tight spot, or a two piece hoyt. I don't have foam in the tight spot so I'm sure that would help.

They haven't yet! I hope I love them. If I do and there are any left I might hop on them or try another color!

    Upland Pants

I fell in love with the wrangler atg reinforced work pants after a ton of miles and the best grouse season I'll ever have. Cheaper on Amazon, and for 30 bucks I'd put them against all the other upland pants I've ever tried. Never felt burs through them, and they were always the right temp even...

Having never touched these... how's the fit? And what's the material weight like? They're listed as a midweight but do you have a pant to compare them to?

Am I overthinking wind drift and broadheads for open country Mule Deer

Agreed. I really only like 3 mechanicals anymore and they're one that hasn't let me down. Sevr, grim reaper and evolution are kind of the only mechanicals I will shoot anymore. Others may be good, but I have a pile of all these and they've never left me wanting anything besides more tags to fill
