    mine will do the same thing, although with my rest I would say the movement is closer to 1/32 of an inch or less. Makes an audible clicking noise when its moved though. I haven't had issues with point of impact shifting, even at further ranges, so it must "reset" when drawing back.

    Cabela's pinnacle mits are my go to. Had a pair for two years now and they are bombproof. Frequently use them in temperatures from 10 to -30 while ice fishing and commercial snow removal. They are the best I have used.

    You can send me a pm if you want, I can recommend a few locations. If its on the access atlas there is some way to access any property for hunting. For pheasant, I would focus on areas that have wetlands (if in western half of state) because they have the best cover usually.
