I have a Axcel Armortech 7 pin sight for sale. It is fully micro-adjustable. The sight is 100% functional, although the front of the housing has a slight dent in it from a treestand, so it would likely not fit a lens. With that in mind, I would like to sell it for $120 tyd.
Hard to see, but...
I agree! I was very surprised when I came up on him after the shot. Especially the deers neck, it was by far the biggest I had ever seen on a buck in the rut. Funny thing is, this deer was not within 10 miles of an ag field. We did have a big sweet clover year, however. Was a lot of feed around...
I haven't met Casey personally yet, but I have been to his shop before! Definitely will be going back to it.
I agree, it is really close! Where I will be living is less than 2 miles from the NF boundary. However, from what I have seen most of the public ground nearby isn't great for upland...
Sweet! Hopefully I can get some permission, but if not I'll definitely be traveling east to find some more upland opportunities!

I have 5 kudupoint contour broadheads for sale. Two of them have small nicks on the edges of the blades, but still spin true on my arrows. Three are in good condition, but have seen foam and could be touched up. 9 grizzlystik 150 grain fieldpoints. 60$ tyd for all of them.
Apples to oranges when comparing elk to pheasants, especially in SD. Odds are any chunk of land that has prairie, a marsh (assuming it has a few feet of dry, non cultivated ground on the edges), or standing vegetation of some form taller than around 18 inches will probably have some pheasants...
I think the key thing is the money. A lot of farmers decided to withdraw from crp when corn prices were high, which caused a loss of a ton of habitat. With less habitat, pheasant numbers dropped. With less places to hunt and less pheasants, revenue (from licenses) for state run programs was...
The brood count in and of itself was advertising, and for the last few years, poor advertising to say the least. At first I was a bit shocked about it, how could they manage game they have no idea of population of? Pheasants aren't quite like deer or other larger animals, though. If a population...
