I ordered a DD wolfhunter through Bauer a couple weeks ago. It should be at my dealer on Monday. They aren't real fast at processing form 3's, but the price was right with their discount. And they were quick to reply to emails.
United is one of the worst at denying claims. My wife had to fight with them for months after our second child was born. She would have to re-submit each bill multiple times, because they kept denying them. And everyone we talked to at the hospital said United is one of the worst to deal with.
That would be my guess as well. I remember a few years back people having issues with that pin breaking during matches, and I would bet that's the reason.
That and the tension from the bolt stop. If you have your barreled action out of the stock and push your bolt release, that pin can fall out. Make sure you have that pin all the way in before placing it in a stock. I always turn my barreled action upside down, and put the stock on. Then get...
