    Just modified my Marlin 338 MX. Barrel is 16 1/4” long, installed XS Rear sight and rail, installed a Ruger SBL fiber optic front sight, and a Beartooth Merchantile oversized lever.

    I chambered the 65CM barrel and whacked it to 16.5” to basically compare FPS to the 28” barrel. I plan to eventually cut the long barrel back to 24” and machine some flutes.
