    Meopta Meostar B1 10x42 vs Maven B2 9x45

I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with the MeoStar B1 10x42 HD with MeoBright coating. My first time looking through them was a real awakening. They have become my go-to bino's in the field and I own bino's that cost more than twice as much! Even though I do some freelance work...

    Meopta bino question.

Yes, I am doing some work with Meopta but I can promise you, my Euro bino's that cost more than twice what the MeoStar bino goes for, will not see the light of day this hunting season. That is how impressed I am with Meopta's binos. You will not be disappointed, especially with how much money...

    Meopta bino question.

Picking up the phone will definitely save you some $. I have been using Meopta's MeoStar B1 10x42 HD's for over a month now and I can assure you they will exceed your expectations. Everything about them is quality and you can feel it when you pick them up and adjust the eyecups. Check them out...

    new tikka t3x, now what?

You are going to love that pairing. Nikon's BLACK FX1000 will let you dial in your shots and the zero stop will get you back to baseline. A friend just put one on his Bergara Ridge and it shoots lights out. I use Nikon's BLACK Series bases on mine, definitely worth taking a look at. Solid lock...

Primos trigger stick tripod for a spotter?

I agree with the tripod guys. A full size spotter or heck, any spotter needs a rock solid foundation to get the most out of it. Get a bogpod with attachments and you will have all you need. I use mine for my Nikon ED50 which is a compact spotter but works great with my bogpod.

Which 15X? Sig Zulu 9 vs Leupold BX 5 vs Meopta Meostar

I had a chance to use the Nikon MONARCH 5 16x56 bino's a while back. Very nice, clear and I thought the price was fair. I used them in a blind with a windshield mount and adapter. At 2.5 pounds I would have been ok using them without the mount as long as I had a place to rest my elbows. I do...

Nikon Monarch HG bad out of the box?

ndayton, That is a first for me on the HG's. I do some freelance work with Nikon and would be happy to help you get them sent back to be checked out if needed? Mine have been through a lot, over 50 days in the filed so far and still are better than my Euro bino's that cost a heck of a lot more...

Need some lightweight binos for bowhunting the SE. Suggestions?

I have a pair of Nikon MONARCH 7 8x32's that I really like and my son does as well. Easy to wear all day and no strap rash. Great glass and the price is well under what you want to spend. Definitely worth taking a look at.

An eye opener...that "Ah Ha" moment.....

Nikon's MONARCH 7 bino's whille not thought of in the same class as bino's costing $2K and up are dang nice. I used them and the MONARCH 7 8x30's for years until buying the MONARCH HG bino's with the filedflattener. Dang impressive and great in low light. I will be using them for the next 8 days...

    Best Binos for $1000

At the end of the day, $1000 bino's really should be looked through so that you can make sure what you are buying is the best for your eyes. I can only tell you about the experiences I have had with mine and watching deer after sunset is a huge plus for me. The clarity and what the field...

    Best Binos for $1000

You definiitely need to check out Nikon's MONARCH HG bino's. Sub $1000, and I have yet to read a review that didn't rave about them. They can be found at most of the larger Nikon Dealer's as well as from Doug at Cameraland.

Feeling Comfortable Hunting at 600yds and In

I am a big fan of the .300 Win for big Whitetail deer. In Tx it is overkill if there is such a thing? When I hunt N. OK and KS the .300 stops em where they stand. I have taken deer to 599 yards using Nikon's BDC reticle scopes. One year I had my buck down and looked up and saw 2 doe new a pump...

    Scope Recommendations?

I agree about the shoot thru scope rings, does not provide optimal scope placement. As for QD mounts so that you can keep iron sight, good ones will cost you more than the optic. In 55 years of hunting and the last 10 years I have spent more than 40 days a year chasing whitetails I have yet to...

    Has Anyone "Downgraded" Their Optics?

Agreed, Having another bino option is nice. A pair I carry with me when my son gives em up is Nikon's MONARCH 7 8x32. Great MONARCH glass and smaller than full size bino's. Great for turkey hunting, tree stands, ground blinds and any other use where you don't want a full size bins. The HG also...

    Best Binos for $1000

You absolutely can not go wrong with Nikon's MONARCH HG bino's. Incredible clarity and the filed flattener really makes images pop. You are in luck in that it is curretnly under a Nikon Promo for $100 off when you buy from an Authorized Nikon Dealer. A heck of a deal on a heck of a bino. I...

    Rifle Scope *Suggestions Welcome**

One of my favorite Nikon scopes is the MONARCH 5. Amazing ED glass and the one I use on my custom .300 Win is 3-15x50 with Nikon's Advanced BDC reticle. This scope has been discontinued and can be found for some great prices if you look around. You can dial in your rifle, scope and ammo using...

Time for a range finder upgrade

I have been using Nikon's first Gen Vibration Reduction rangefinder for 2 years now and it is the real deal. Zero issues in all kinds of weather condition's and the VR realy makes a difference when picking up a deer at 500+ yards. While i haven't used Nikon's MONARCH 3000 Stabilized RF in the...

Swaro SLC vs Nikon Monarch HG 10X42

Just so you know, Nikon's MONARCH HG bino's are currently under a Nikon sponsored PROMO that gives you $100 off the purchase price when you buy from a participating dealer. A heck of a deal on an outstanding bino. I have been using a pair for almost a year now and since receiving them my Euro...

Kowa 602 vs Nikon ED50, had them together for a couple hours today.

I use the ED50 for range work all the time and it's great knowing that is something happens to it that it is covered by Nikon's No Fault warranty. I was using the new MONARCH 20-60x82 with ED glass and loved how easy it is to use and how bright and clear images are. One heck of a scope for $1600.
