I just finished 10 days of hunting in OK using my MeoStar B1 Plus 12x50 bino. Absolutely wonderful binos. Great clarity and stellar in low light conditions. Depending on where I was hunting I used mine on a tripod part of the time but easy to hold on target and focus. MeoStar glass is known...
I agree with the Meopta MeoStar S2 82. I have owned over 10 different spotters over the last 15 years and the S2 is the hands-down all-around winner for me. I'm not saying that just because I have been doing some work with Meopta either. My at-the-range and in-the-field experiences have proven...
That is not what I get using my Optika HD bino. Have you tried different adjustments, eyecups in or out? Your issue is not something I have heard about from others who have purchased them. Feel free to reach out to me if you think it's a QC issue.
I agree with the sentiment of wanting an optics company to have a great warranty but I never want to test it out. Having worked with Meopta for 3 years now, I must say that it is a rare occasion when I run across someone with a problem. But, when I do, I make sure they are taken care of to their...
I am happy to help anyone out with any Meopta product issues. Meopta over engineers their products just so you don't have to worry about them in the field.
I am using the Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 12x50's with the eyecups out one click. A buddy likes them out all the way for his old eyes. I have never noticed any issues with the Meopta eye relief being finicky.
One of the guys on our lease has the Razor's and thought they were the cats' ass until he checked out my Meopta MeoStar B1 Plus 8xx42 bino. There is a definite difference in the low light visibility and the image is more clear on the B1 Plus binos. That is not just my biased opinion but 3 other...
I have been doing some freelance work with Meopta for the last few years and I am very impressed with the MeoPro Air binos. Meopta is known for its European quality glass and the Air will not disappoint. A review I read said that Meopta over engineers their products to make sure they can take...
Having used both scopes I think for fox hunting on a 22-250 the illuminated 4K will work the best for your needs. With a wooded backdrop or dark day, the illumination will drive your projectile home.
I haven't and I haven't heard any updated news on arrival. Last I was told, Jan 2021. I am excited to get my hands on one, I have used the Plus all hunting season and I really like the ergonomics and dropping down to a 8X from my usual 10/12X.
I have been using an Optika6 1-6x24 for 15 months now and I have had zero issues at all. Yes, I do some work with Meopta, but that has no bearing on the info I pass along. Mine sits on an LMT and has over 500 rounds under it. It has been strapped to the underside of a tractor cab through 100+...
I do not find any performance differences, Gentlemen. I do find the ergonomics to be better in that it is easier to hold for long periods of time. I have been using these 8x42's and my old MeoStar 10x42 B1.1's side by side and the low light visibility is better than the 10's just as you would...
The last information I received on the MeoPro Air bino is sometime in Jan. 2021. I just started using the MeoStar B1 Plus 8x42 bino and will have them in the field with me later this week. Very nice, the new style fits nicer in my grip. Watching ducks land on my pond the other day at first...
The new MeoPro Air binos should be very nice and on par with the MeoStar binos. They will be lighter with the open bridge design which should be very nice. I plan to step up to the MeoStar B1 Plus binos when they show up. Unfortunately, there is not much info available thus far. Meopta is still...
August is the date I was told they would be in the USA. They are made with MeoStar glass and open bridge design. The Optika5 is slated for August as well. I will be testing one out this weekend, First impressions are that you guys will like this hunting rifle optic.
Preaching to the choir, DB. I have been using that scope for 9 months now and it is a favorite. From carbine competitions to pig hunting it'll get the job done. You can even dial in the reticle using Strelok Pro for those longer shots you might encounter. My son used my scope and rifle one night...
I will also throw in a vote for a Meopta Optic. I have a MeoPro 6-18 on my Rem. 700 .308 and an Optika6 3-18x50 (my favorite) on my custom .300 Win. Excellent low light visibility and tough as nails. You can also use Strelok Pro to dial in the drops for whatever reticle you choose. Meopta has...
Meopta glass will not let you down. I have been very impressed with all my Meopta products and one of the reasons I do some freelance work with them. Excellent glass and a quality European company that cares about quality control. A number of my friends own Meopta products after borrowing mine...
