    Sheep fat has a unique flavor, I like to keep enough to give the grind a good mouth feel, a course grind gives it a nice bite. When I make sheep sliders, I roll the meat out thin, quick sear and cover in cheese. Then onto fresh Hawaiian Jalapeno dinner rolls.

    The rings are American Rifle Company rings, mediums, and Yes Sir NF ATACR 7x35x56 F1 MOA. So far very impressed with these rings, very innovative way of mounting and so far I have about 100 rounds and the rings have been rock solid.

    So who losses weight before a backpack hunt?

    I agree with the above.. I try to eat and train lean, but about 10 days out I try to put on a few lbs to help when packing and hunting hard. The weight is quickly lost over a 10 to 14 day hunt. I eat a spurge meal or two once back and then try to get back to the routine.

    No shame in walking away, I always prefer the 2 ways legal rams. My partner and I passed on this ram this season. These photos were taken using a Swaro ATX 95 and Olympus TG5. IMHO this ram is FC on the right side and 8. Mr Joe, thoughts on this guy Sir? Ram is under 400 yards.

    I have been very impressed with CA rifles, after seeing several and shooting a few. I bought a BA Tactical as a long range rig. The trigger Tech trigger is nice and crisp, I did need to smooth the bolt in the action as mine would bind just a bit on the forward stroke.
