    Older, reliable, 3rd vehicle?

    We've had half dozen 3rd gen 4runners. Very reliable vehicles. Don't over look the '98 to '06 silverado. 4.8 and 5.3 engines are easy to work on and run forever.

    3.0 Duramax opinions/experience??

    Wife has a '21 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. Zero issues but only 21k miles. Lots of power, rides/drives great and love the 8sp. Terrible fuel mileage but we don't lose sleep over it. However, she wants a Tahoe or Yukon. With the 5.3 and 6.2 troubles we are considering the 3.0 duramax. But...
