    I’ve never used it higher than a sitting position and not past 500m. It’s definitely not perfect but it’s light enough to carry on most hunts, and gives me an option if I can't lay prone over my pack. A rubber strap might add some support for sure.

    Any way you all found to get the rubber taste out of water bladder

    Take a felt marker and put a large “P” on it. Then use it in the middle of the night to pee in so you don’t have to crawl out of the tent. Remember to buy a new one that’s a different color to drink from that hopefully won’t have a rubber taste.

    147 eldm vs 156 EOL terminal and external ballistics

    This pic shows one 147 eld-m recovered from a caribou bull just over 400 yds, and two recovered from a mule deer buck about 80 yds. From a 6.5CM with a 20” Proof Research CF barrel started at about 2650fps using RL16. I’ve shot more caribou, sheep and deer with this setup with good results.
