I got a Tikka West Texas Ordnance (WTO) lug, but to be honest, didn’t like it and sold it on Gunbroker. I'm glad to here some people have had good experiences with them. After shooting a bunch of rounds through it, it locked in so tight I might as well have just swapped them with a vice.
Blaser...
I've got this nice little handheld thermal that has worked really nice scanning for hogs at night here in Texas. Also have it listed on Ebay, but can let it go here for $925 including shipping any where in the U.S. Works great, only selling because I bought a rifle scope thermal this week...
I ordered 100ea pieces of brass because of your post a few weeks ago, thank you! It looks like the date keeps getting pushed forward, but hopefully soon! One nice thing is I don't think they run your card until its in stock.
Anyone have 50ea .375 Ruger brass they'd sell me? Picking up a Tikka T3x with 375 Ruger barrel and can't wait to load up some of those 260gr Accubonds.
Can either buy them or trade .375 bullets if you're looking for LRX or Accubond
I know this is an old thread, but any updates on this? I had AccuPoints on two Tikka rifles for a couple of years. One of them dropped by one of my kids at a ranch and many trips on very rough roads.
Took them out to check zero, and nope. Way off. One of them was on a QD mount to change...
That's really good feedback! I have the FN 510 and really like it. Only two small complaints that make me want to try the X-Ten are, I'd like a slightly nicer trigger and I'd also really like a manual safety (you can buy a grip module and safety).
We aim behind the ear, but we are shooting at night time, so we do the best we can. Thick brush, so if they run off, we can't find them, deep south Texas
Haven't shot a lot of animals, but the 6.5 Creedmoor is putting down hogs with the Norma Bondstrike, instant kills...pound for pound, these hogs are probably one of the toughter animals in North America.
