I shoot a Tikka T3X Lite stainless, and really like it. I would recommend it to anyone. Mine is a 300 MW so recoil is pretty bad, but my dad has the same gun in 7 RM and 6.5 CM they are all really good guns. The action is as smooth or smoother than any gun I have had the pleasure to shoot.

I would say I play golf, but really I drive around on a little car drinking beer looking for golf balls that I have errantly hit into the woods.
For me that is predominantly a whitetail hunter in the Midwest my list would be very different than most above.

I would call and talk to the people at Steve’s Outdoor adventures. They’re good people, and always been pretty helpful. My dad and I went through SOA for our 2020 mule deer hunt and were happy with them.
As good as that sounds, I am not taking the time to pluck a goose. Skinned breast and leg/thigh is all I am going after. I plucked too many chickens as a kid and hated every min of it.
So we kill a god handful of geese a year I mainly only do 3 different things.

Pastrami
And then throw a couple breasts into a crockpot with some bbq sauce and some beef broth (and rub of choice) then let it cook all day, shred it and have bbq sandwiches.
Make sure you have a good battery in your sight light if they’re legal in your area. It’s darker in the blind than outside. My buddy didn’t get a shot at last light this year because he couldn’t see his pins while archery hunting.
