If you want to stick with Tikka switching out the barrel with a prefit is an option. Costs a bit more, but you can do it yourself, or pay a smith a few bucks.

260gr Controlled Fracturing.
See below. 200 yards with a peep sight. Would be better with a better shooter pulling the trigger or a globe up front.

It is a .060 fiber. I am running the same front sight after basically buying and trying them all.
It does cover quite a bit of the target but it is manageable and I have found nothing better for low light.
It should be fine with the weaver bases. I had some issues with a taller base, but...
Sabotloader pretty much has you dialed. The only thing I would add is my Colorado version came with a bare primer bolt. This is after Knight told me to order the Colorado version if I wanted the FPJ bolt. They are going to make it right but the Colorado version comes with the bare primer bolt...
My Knight UL works well with 115gr by volume with W209 primers and Lehigh .458 260gr Muzzleloader bullets. Start at 100gr by volume and go up or down from there.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but I bet their income was more negatively effected then any other company on the list.

It is normal for antibodies to decrease over time. We generally don’t have large amounts of antibodies floating around the body all the time. The key is memory T cells that allow us to produce antibodies quickly to threats we have already been exposed to. While there is no guarantee we will have...
I had 4 and got to hunt Jarbidge 72-74. I definitely got lucky. To me NV is worth it. The cost really isn’t too bad. I always feel like I have a chance and I can try for both very hard and relatively easy units to draw. I

I live in CA and by far like NV’s system better. Unless you are a max point hunter you are drawing for 10% of the tags and that will not change in most people’s lifetime for anything other than deer. To each their own, but I’ll take NV over CA anytime.

I did it a few years back with zero elk experience. Ended up being successful on a decent bull. Had other opportunities on some very nice bulls that I ended up screwing up. Would do it again without question.
What unit are you looking at?

I am running factory 150 TTSX at 2825 in my 16” Kimber. I don’t think twice with anything under 400 yards. Don’t see a reason to run the 130’s. Would like to try the 168’s but don’t reload at this time.

I have a MAK, but have cooked on multiple treagers, a GMG, and a Louisiana grill. All of them work well. Would probably buy a rec tec if I was going the cheaper route.
