I've only been wearing mine around the neighborhood walking the dogs. All I can report is that they are comfortable out of the box. Won't have any real trail use on them until snowboarding season is over.
For antelope any type of hiking shoe is good, flatter terrain, summer heat and lighter loads. For something that will work for elk and Midwest whitetail you probably want something insulated or at least with enough room to give you different sock options. I’d look into Meindl, value per dollar...
My feet didn't get along with Crispi either tried on many different styles and sizes all had noticeable pressure points somewhere (like a hard plastic feel), ended up with Kuiu Scarpe R-Evo fit like a glove. Find what works for you not what influencers tell you is great.
Why? Very easy to find complaints about leaking GoreTex, haven't seen any reviews about leaking HDry/OutDry yet. I have the R-Evolutions, ordered one full size up and changed insole to superfeet guide, haven't got them wet yet but like them so far.
