    I'd go with 223 if legal where your hunting. If not, 260, 7-08 is hard to beat if she comfortable with them. Brake or supress if needed to get recoil to where shes comfortable. Get a youth stock or cut a stock down to fit her.

    Cant count on piece and quit in the back country any more.... going deep is cool now, everyone and their brother does it. Like was mentioned, keep your phone in an inside coat pocket and in your bag at night. Blow out your hydration hose after you take a drink, it will cut down on freezing.

    Not my job to know my buddies limits.... its my job to know mine. That said, sometimes shit goes sideways.... In my experience, range is rarely the end issue.

    Browns and greys. But like Mike said.... half of you is bright orange so its not like it really matters. I've killed more things in blue jeans and a t-shirt than I have in hunting clothes.

    Colorado 1st Rifle Weather

    LOL, last year their was not supposed to be any moisture and our area got over a foot of snow opening weekend first rifle. Its Colorado folks, the weather doesn't know what the hell its doing, let alone the weather man.
