The best I know of (if you're ready to buy now) is S and S Archery and use the code Rokslide. Otherwise do the whole Cabela's gift card and Active Junky thing (might save you another $100+/- but takes some time and effort).
What I found on the bird forums is that the B1 Plus will have MeoLux coatings (instead of MeoBright), which should give better light transmission, etc. but otherwise be mostly the same as the B1.1
And there's also rumors of a completely new designed Meopta top-tier bino that's probably not...
I considered removing sections on 2 legs, and leaving one full length for when I'm on a steep hillside (long one reaches out and down). I'd say that's how I use my tripod 90% of the time anyway. I just never had a tripod I wanted to hack up badly enough to save a few oz.

I think I'm just going to spend it through ActiveJunky today. I looked at selling it through Raise, but they take 15% after I sell it at an already reduced price (probably 25-30% total hit to me). On the flipside, I haven't been able to find hardly any cards to buy at more than 10% off (was...
GONE on 7/5/20.
I have a gift card with $966.24 on it (code at bottom right still unscratched). Wanting $800 for it, which equates to a little over 17% off. I can send numbers instantly and/or send in the mail. Going to use the funds to buy the kids new bikes!
I imagine you'll get people steering you toward the BX-4 (and for good reason, it seems). Personally, I really prefer 8x binoculars for hand use, and go all the way up to 15x56 if I'll be sitting behind a tripod. After using a tripod I just get irritated at the wobbles with anything over 8x...
Dang. That's really saying something.
I would say that I compared my Meostar S2 30-60WA with a Swarovski ATM (magnesium, otherwise like ATS HD) with 25-50WA eyepiece and thought the Swarovski was a little better. I'm completely happy with the Meostar (I currently have the Cabela's version)...
I've owned both and used both fairly extensively. Currently I have the 20-70, but I think the 30-60WA is the overall winner because the field of view is just so much wider/better. I rarely go above 45 or 50x on either, but wanted to try the 20-70 out for low light conditions. I think at 20x...
I had an issue with some SLCs this spring. I got them used and the focus wheel was nothing like the others I have owned or handled. Knowing Swarovski's customer service is well revered, I kept them and sent them off to be repaired (partly in hopes that they'd come back better than any of the...
I got these 3 out a bit more this afternoon -- sitting and in some wind. With them set lower for seated viewing (neck all the way down, and bottom legs retracted so at equal height of 30" +/-) I think I'm starting to like the ET-1004 even more. The ET-2004 is clearly the most stable (bucks the...
This is long, but the gist is that the ET-1004 is good-to-go (especially for the price!). If you are curious about what I thought compared to other tripods, then read on.
Here’s my experience with the three tripods currently in my possession. I tried to include specs to the best of my...
My package did arrive just fine yesterday. I've always had a great experience with Cameraland, and the deals they give us Roksliders is unbeatable... so I have no business complaining. I also dont think the shipping error is a common one, because when I called to say I received the wrong package...
Yeah, funny you ask! I got a box from cameraland last week and when I opened it I found somebody else's riflescope. I mailed the riflescope to that guy, and hopefully he mailed my tripod to me! As of now, I am just waiting still.
To be honest, I thought it was a little weird that camera land...
I just looked up the Interpupillary distances on the three mentioned (...because I have nothing but COVID19 time...):
Swarovski SLC HD - 55.9 to 76.2mm
Meostar HD - 56 to 74mm
Swarovski SLC (from 2006) - 64 to 75.8mm
And I'm pretty sure the eyepiece itself is real close in size between the...
That's a good point! The deals they have going on are pretty hard to pass up.
I actually just called and ordered the ET-1004 tripod and VA-5 head combo myself because I was in the market for the head and also needed the puck/spacer that sits on top of the tripod (it was missing on my ET-2004)...
