As an update. Finally connected with OnX and got things working.
This is what I did, maybe it will help some of you. I have an android phone. I went into my app settings (on my phone) and essentially reset my permissions. After doing so my link from my friend worked.
Sounds like I'm not the only one. I'll try reaching out then.
We'll share the link through text. Clicking the link brings OnX up but does not take you to the location.
My friend and I have been trying to share some waypoints with each other. We can text the link, but upon clicking the link it only opens OnX up. It doesn't show the shared waypoint. Is this user error on our part? Any suggestions? I'll be the first to admit I'm not the brightest when it comes to...
The hunt I did last year went from 36% odds with 0 points to 36% with 1 point.
My brother and I went for a tag that had lots of leftovers last year. We drew, but not everyone with 0 points did. Glad we played it safe going with it as first choice.
The arrows I have now are the gold tip hunter xt 300. The broadheads are g5 100gr. I bought my setup used a few years back, so just kept the same arrows/broadheads. Now that I have a tag I'm excited about I guess I'm wanting to play around more with other options.
I got lucky and drew a good tag this year for elk. Getting my archery equipment put together. I'll admit, I'm pretty novice as I don't do archery a ton. I shoot a hoyt alphamax 35, draw length is 29.5 inches, and 65 pounds.
I've always shot 100gr broadheads, but am thinking the 125gr may be...
Got lucky and drew an archery tag in UT. It's a unit I'm very familiar with, but I've personally never bow hunted it.
As I'm making mental notes about how I'm going to hunt it and what I may need to purchase, I'm torn whether a blind is/ isn't worth it.
In my mind I'm thinking I'll be more...
I use to live in Milford, but never have hunted the unit. It's big and vast, filled with small mountain ranges between huge valleys. The area is dry and it seems every time going out there my dad would always get a flat tire. Without boots on the ground pre-scouting there's a few areas I would...
Production model isn't out yet; however, I spoke with a guy that had a pre-production model. He had good things to say about it and is looking forward to see how they improved upon their recommendations. It's one I'm keeping my eye on for sure.
...Gunwerks lately?
Have a stock on order, just curious what time frame people have seen lately. Forgot to ask when I ordered, don't necessarily want to bug them. Just curious.
Thanks guys.
The stinging nettle wasn't very fun, but the setting and view we had of the lake was picturesque.
Spending that time together as brothers with our dad at the cabin will be tough to beat.
