    The lone wolf system is hard to beat. I have set many all day sits in mine, very comfortable. I use this if i am away from home. Now at home i am starting to use ladder stands for safety & ease of use.

    I will not worry about staying on the diet while in the backcountry. I will need the extra calories. I will just get back to it after the hunt.

    Thanks Swede, thats what I was looking for & yes I will need room for ice also. I had frozen several milk jugs last year & they still had ice after 12 days, this was in mid september. Just did not get to add the elk meat!:(

    How much cooler space in quarts does it take to get an average size elk home? Is 200 enough? Hopefully I will find out myself this year! I have asked a couple of guys before but never got a straight answer. I just want to make sure I have enough. I am talking boned out of course.

    I will be using them for the first time this year also. Do you folks wear them all day or just in the morning with the wet grass? I know some use them for stream crossing also.
