What is your favorite arrow rest?

I’ll second the Limb Driver. Not that other drop always fail a lot, but they can. Love my ripcord code red, but I forgot to lube it up one off season and had it fail to drop few times while practicing. As long as the cord doesn’t break, I don’t think it’s possible for the Limb Driver to fail...

I trim every little bit of fat off my game meat. I firmly believe that is why lots of people say they don’t like the way it taste. Many folks don’t mind, but no one can say that it makes it taste better, like a nice fatty cut of prime rib! I save all of the fat a trim and cook it up for my dog...

Cell phone pouch?

I had been looking for the same type of pouch. I was able to find one on a weird site from China. AliExpress. Was a couple bucks so I figured I’d try it. I have a special credit card I use for sites like this so not worried if it goes bad. Hope it gets here in a month or 2...

Buying a bow new or used

I won’t buy used, but won’t buy new either. I’ve always been able to find a 1-3 year old “new” bow for sale on eBay from various bow shops. Way less than buying new and I’m always able to register the warranty since I’m the original owner. Just got a “new” Elite this past season. Setting it up...

October Newfoundland--are regular Muck Boots ok or do you need insulated Mucks?

Another vote for snake boots. The guides laughed at me when we got there, but twice during our hunt a guide had a boot sucked off their foot in a bog and I went to get it for him.

If you’re comfortable at 60 that is what I’d do. Tons of deer are killed at 50 every year and modern bows are plenty efficient. 60 would make me more comfortable if ever going after something bigger like elk. I would NOT get a 70 just to shoot it at a lower poundage. Most bows shoot and perform...
