New to Quilts, need advice

We are similar in size and if I remember correctly the wide EE is 58". That is the minimum width I feel comfortable with as I'm a side sleeping flip flopper.

Different tripod head?

Is there screw or allen heads showing under where the ball head connects to the stem? If so there's a good chance you can put a different head on it.

Manfrotto "Off Road" Tripod series

I too like Manfrotto. That Off Road tripod looks pretty slick and the price isn't too bad. I wonder if the head is fixed or not. I'd like to see a one ton big brother version, with fluid head; of this half ton off roader.

I carry an Intergral Designs SilTarp 3, stakes and guylines all the time in the bottom of my pack. This is big enough for me and two hunting age kids. It can be used for an unexpected storm or overnight, or shade for butchering etc...
