    Shot my 7 PRC yesterday with Federal ELD X and it chrono'd at 2956 from a 24" barrel with solid under an inch five shot groups. Same gun shot Hornady ELD X at 2878 about a month ago and not nearly as good of groups.

    Hound Hunters-Young Bears vs Old Bears

    Older bears know where to look for the best feed right when they come out. Young bears wander more trying to find it. More hound hunters because other states are limiting hounds so bad. I know quite a few from Wa. that head over there if they know someone in Montana.

    Maven RS 1.2 vs Trijicon Credo

    Maven 100%. Creedo is solid but the RS1.2 has the only ffp reticle I’ve used that is actually usable at 2.5x. So you get the benefits of ffp without the normal drawbacks.

    FFP vs SFP and necessity

    This is spot on. I compared my RS 1.2 to some sfp scopes. A Maven RS 5, two Nightforce scopes and a Leupold VX5 and the Maven RS1.2 reticle is just as usable at 2.5 in low light, thick timber as the ones listed and actually better than the NFs.

    7prc ELD-X Hornady vs Federal?

    My Tikka 7 PRC shoots Hornady eld x at 2878 out of a 24" barrel and shoots about a 4-5" 100 yd. group using Hornady CX. Got a box of Federal eld x to try.
