Mine does not hunt currently. She has been on a few unsuccessful turkey hunts. She also tagged along on some deer, goose, and scouting trips.
She has points if she ever decides to get into it in the future.

Apparently your feels are all that matter. You feel everyone is lying here to impress people, or they are too stupid to use a map or GPS to measure distance.

It's pretty easy to figure out with modern mapping tools. Especially if you are on a trail that onx has distance labels available.
Just because you don't pack that far does not mean everyone on this thread is lying, and over estimating their effort by 40% on average.

I bought a Salsa Rangefinder Deore a couple years ago. I am not pleased with the Shimano Deore gear set. It's their entry level setup. The rest of the bike is solid.

A few come to mind.
Solo mature Muley and camp through a burn 4 miles.
Mostly solo raghorn 6 miles in 2 trips. Shot a whitetail completing trip one after I got my dad to help with the last mile.
My Sheep was 7 miles with 2000 feet over 1 mile stretch in the middle. 3 of us.
2 bucks this...
I would not shy away from Lowa. They stayed waterproof longer that the rest of the boot lasted for the ones I have had.

Leukotape and lacing technique to make your Kenetreks work.
Lots of other choices if your feet are over a 14. Zamberlain has a bunch of good boots.

Kenetrek narrow is the only option I have found for15 narrow mt boots.
Lowa renegade has 15 narrow if you can find them. Not a very stiff boot though.

Definitely bring the spotter.
Check to see if there is a Les Schwab tires near where you are hunting. Call ahead and get chains lined up. They will probably fit them for you, and you can return them if unused.
