I shoot a 308 win. I found the 150's a couple months ago at SW but didn't buy them like a dummy and haven't seen them since. I have plenty of 168's though so I'm not in much of a hurry.
Like @SDHNTR said I prefer the TTSX vs the TSX but I've used the TSX on elk with zero problem. I plan on trying out the 150 TTSX just because the 308 pushes them faster, I just need to find some.
I’d prefer polar bears since they’re easier to spot, they are both in the Ursus family so by wolf lover logic they’re the same thing since they’re both bears and subspecies don’t matter.

I don’t believe they are different, the scientists who study them know they are different but when it comes to wolves no one cares about what they say, only that a wolf is a wolf.
How are they different? One evolved to live in the MacKenzie river valley, one evolved to live in the southern...
I forgot to address your other comments.
It has nothing to do with what I think, the scientists believe there is enough difference to have them be their own separate subspecies so that should have been at least addressed when this was put before the people, instead they are just called "Gray...
Incorrect, by stating this is a "reintroduction" this same wolf subspecies had to have lived in Colorado before but the subspecies native to the Meeker area was the youngi which are extinct, these wolves they are introducing are originally from Jasper National Park which makes them either the...
I shot a 150 lb whitetail doe last year with a 25-06 and 100 gr TTSX, 80 yards hard quartering to me, through the left front shoulder and exited just behind the last rib on the right side. She ran about 50 yards and when I grabbed her head I felt something hard just sitting between her ears, it...
Zip off bottoms are life changing if you're like me and too lazy to take off your boots and pants to strip the bottoms off when you get hot. Kuiu merinos are nice but the pelotons weight less if that is an issue, plus they dry much quicker than merino.
You'll really be amused by this but I come out almost every year to hunt D16, from Colorado. The years I don't is when my Dad can make it out here with me.
Honestly, I think I would put an email into the GW in the area you are hunting, explain the situation and include that chart plus any pertinent info from BB and see what they say, if you get a response then you have it writing that you can print and carry with you to show the GW if you're checked.
I can think of several legal elk over 15 years of hunting them where I could have used a pistol, all in fresh, soft powder and they didn't hear/see me creeping up on them.

Why is everyone jumping his ass? Read the bold line above, he literally said he’s carrying it for when his rifle is strapped to his pack in case he bumps an elk, so he’s planning on using it for hunting.
