    2016 Montana leftover licenses now available | goHUNT The way I read this is last year they didn't give out all tags for lottery and then sold the rest over the counter. Some must have not gotten drawn last year then got to get them OTC?

    I got drawn for a 380 deer permit, didn't realize that limits you to that zone only for deer then. Wish I would not have put in for that so I could just have my general deer license.

    I know a handful of people that have used them on Elk with good luck. My buddy shot one last year at 70 yards with them and had great success. Couple other guys have used them for 3-4 other elk without issue.

    I have used them since they came out, I have had nothing but good luck with them. Never had a broken blade, bent ferrule or any issue. I have shot rage for years and these are by far my favorites.
