I really like all the products from first lite with the exception of the pants. The only thing I can find wrong with them is they only make them in a slim cut. When the company starts to make a relaxed fit for there hunting pants will be a good day. I am still a fan of the old ASAT pattern...
I use the Outdoorsmans tripod and head. I really enjoy this light weight setup. The only down fall is with my setup you can not glass standing up due to the height of the tripod.
I will not use mechanical broadheads for anything larger than deer. This Year I will once again be using Trophy Takers Shuttle T's 100 grain broadheads.
If you are going to buy a deer point in Arizona you are going to spend a $151.25 for your hunting license and & $7.50 for your deer point. You might as well buy a point for $7.50 each for antelope, elk, and sheep. This allows you to make a better investment in future hunts. This year you have...

If unsuccessful in any of the draws I will just hunt MT and ID on OTC tags.
If you guys think it...
Today this the deadline to apply for your tags. If you miss the draw you still have until March 8th to purchase a point.
Good luck to all.
If I can not draw the tag it might as well be you!
Jaun_ID,
Idaho is a great state to apply! My best antelope came from Idaho. I feel Idaho is one of the most overlooked states when it comes to trophy antelope. Good luck in the draw.
The way the quota system works is once the quota is filled the season will close 48 hours later. A example is if five guys with sheep tags were together in a unit with a two ram quota and they found five legal rams they could legally shoot all five. Once The Montana FWP was notified the would...
The Winter of 2010/2011 was really hard on the Mule deer in eastern Montana. Last year we hunted around Jorden, Brodus, and Ekalaka and deer numbers were way down. The deer should be rutting when you are the there. Good luck!
Always applying and hoping for a great tag. Montana and Idaho archery are my backup hunts. I always try to do at least one hunt a year for a speed goat.
I was lucky enough to draw a elk tag! Its is always nice to see the word successful next to your name on the states website. Now all the unsuccessful notices that will come will not hurt as much.
I have hunted the Unlimited areas many times. If you have the time to scout and like Grizzly bears I would give it a shot. We always scouted for the seven days before the season and then would hunt the first three to five days. Every year we found sheep and my friend killed a really nice ram...
