    Congrats to you both! I have had heart and some turned out really good and others not so much. Honestly, the best so far has been diced up, fried with a little olive oil and salt and pepper. Pretty darn good!

    Close to home in a unit with low elk numbers, or 4 hours from home with more elk?

    I am trying to decide what would be better for hunting elk. I live within minutes of elk hunting, but game management units that have low elk numbers. I am on the fence on if it is better to hunt a unit closer to home so that I can scout the area more often, or if it is better to hunt units...

    Elk ruined deer hunting

    Nice elk! Yes, i dream of elk hunting all year, but there is still something about the mule deer. All I think about is hunting mule deer and elk. Makes it hard to work, especially after discovering this site. The good news is I do not need facebook anymore!!!

    I have been shooting the montec CS's for about 5 or 6 years. Fly good and seems to pass-through every time on elk and mule deer. I have heard good things about the shuttle T's as well.

    Seems about half the people on here have Hoyt's and the other half are really mixed. I am happy with the limbsaver dz-32, shoots well and kills animals. Maybe I should keep it another season and focus on getting other gear that I do need! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Electronic Lock on Garage or House?

    I use the keypad garage door opener. They are much cheaper and gets you into the garage. I would then put the keypad on the door going to the house from the garage. Double security and more use.
