    Toyota Tacoma Advantages

Just buy a 4Runner or Jeep. For as small as the Tacoma is, its still a truck with a long wheelbase.

Mainly 264, but open to 155 .284 to stockpile some.

    Terminal Ascent Sources

What's the deal with finding these in stock? Been waiting for months. Anyone have any sources for these? Or maybe when Federal is doing more runs. 277 is easy to find but not much else.

25 prc? 25-7 prc? Experiences? Gotchas? Intangibles?

Oooh nice good catch haha. Maybe I'll just pick up a 26 Nosler for my velocity itch right now.

25 prc? 25-7 prc? Experiences? Gotchas? Intangibles?

I found this article https://westtexordnance.com/25-7-prc-cartridge-development-and-test-results/ And yeah, shoots great, but I shoot a lot in my hunting rifles. And how things are going in CO, no reason not to spin up a new barrel. PBB has a 25-7PRC reamer too.

25 prc? 25-7 prc? Experiences? Gotchas? Intangibles?

Yeah I get it. I'm debating a 6 mm vs 25 or keep going with 6.5 right now. To me it seems the 25 is the "in betweener" just like the 277 cal is. In 6mm, the 108 and 109 have decent BC but you get a lot more velocity out of available cases and significant recoil reduction, but reduced barrel...

25 prc? 25-7 prc? Experiences? Gotchas? Intangibles?

I'm curious as well and have been looking into an excuse for a new barrel. The 6.5 140 eldm and 134 eldm are near identical in BC. 6 PRC and 6.5 PRC would push each respective bullet near the same velocity. Reduced barrel life on the 6 PRC. Guess I don't see the advantage other than fun.

Outfitters offering cash for a pin

I don't name my pins really... I try to keep it to something that doesn't make much sense to an outsider. I'm sure a hotspot of pins would queue them in on something good anyway, so not sure how much good that does.

Outfitters offering cash for a pin

Yeah... Hopefully it won't happen but you never know. Just something I heard about from an inside source. OnX turned them down. I'm sure they have quite the data compository already, so if onx wanted to push a service like that, they could. I wish we could go back to paper maps.

Actually in the works from third parties trying to work with onx.

2024 OFFICIAL Mule deer meat pole thread

Shot him first light on opening day of CO 4th. I had scouted a couple competing bucks in this draw for the last few days. All came together as the sun came up. Double lung with the 6.5 SAUM 142 ABLR at 285 yards. Broke a rib, fractured the tips of both scapula and he still ran 110 yards (didn't...

    Let them grow?

Fair points. But wouldn't it also be effective to institute minimum point restrictions? A lot of 1-2 year old forkies and barely legal bucks get shot in the early seasons. I'd argue the ratio for my units are in the 5-15:100 range without looking up stats just based on anecdotal observations...

    Shooting near homes?

Your description of this scenario is NOT really how I described it. Define "direction" of people? Please don't move the goalposts like the animal was feet from someone's home. Obviously not a stupid question since people in this thread would have taken the shot. And to top it off, Rokslide...

    Shooting near homes?

Huh? This is literally 12 miles from a town in NW CO where I live and the nearby town is small. Small rural group of houses surrounded by public land and ranches. No need to be rude about it. For the majority of Americans, this is middle of nowhere. Definitely not the north Nevada desert though.

    Shooting near homes?

glassed him from the deck and headed over. 3 bucks fighting, so worth the watch anyway. lol not a town buck...this is my rural "neighborhood" in the middle of nowhere.
