    Do you hunt from home?

    My private property is 1.5 hours from my house so that’s pretty close. There is public land within 30 minutes of me so I can hit that up if needed. But in terms of hunting right out the back, that’s not an option. I live in a neighborhood in the city limits where hunting isn’t allowed 😩

    I work in a very fast paced environment as well. Sitting for long periods of time is tough. But I love to read. So bring a book or two and then I can sit all day. I do take the occasional break and get down and just walk around the base of my stand and stretch my legs.

    When to quit?

    Dude. I wasn’t trying to be a jerk. But I’m just saying, deer aren’t that hard to kill. I’m a mediocre hunter at best. And even so I can kill 2-3 deer on public every year. Put me on private and I can limit out. You have to hunting the wrong spots. That’s all there is to it.

    Trophy stage and not ashamed to admit. Just killing something has no appeal to me. I have my standards. I don’t care what anyone else kills. If it makes you happy. Kill it.
