    Another truck tire thread

    General Grabber on my RAM 1500 that gets 30k annual miles on highway, gravel, sand, and on a coal mine. It’s about the best balance of all quiet highway ride, traction in snow, ice, and mud and tire wear I’ve found. Over 45k on this set and I’ll get another.

    Definitely validate or bring with. A friend lost a day of hunting a couple years ago after being checked by CPW, not having it, and then working to contact his home state for a copy they would accept.

    When you have no cell reception.

    I carry the InReach mini, and like others, keep a base plan on year around. Cell coverage is limited where I live and it certainly gives peace of mind whether hiking, mountain biking, or just out for a drive. Never failed me in several years of use.
