    What to do ?

I currently have eight points for deer in Wyoming . With current conditions and point creep should I start seriously looking at units and burn 'em next year or keep building points ? I'm looking for a nice deer and quality experience rather than a booner . Thoughts please . Thanks, Chris

What’s the one tip you wish you were given

Hunt where the deer are going to be in DAYLIGHT . I spent too much time early in my career hunting where the deer were NOT during daylight. Alot of sign is very deceiving and will lie to you.

Kill a buck the first time you see him , you likely won't see him again .

    Scopecoat vs. flip-up caps

I've used the Butler Creek flip up covers for over thirty years, never a problem. They live on every scope I own . Granted no tube protection like a scope coat , but I never felt I needed more .
