Not sure, but the El Ranges might have to go back overseas to Austria for repairs. Most optics can be repaired here (stateside), but not the Rangefinder Binocs. I could be wrong.
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but a Will. You don't want the state to determine who is going to get your property, money, etc (like it can in Louisiana). If the bank finds out someone has passed away, they freeze their accounts (except joint accounts) and won't let anyone take any money out...
When I watch hunting shows on TV, the only thing I really notice is when someone (hunter or guide) is wearing blue jeans, it seems the blue jeans really stand out compared to any other clothing that is worn. Camo blends in better, but the jeans almost seem to glow. If an animal can actually see...
I think that since he DOESN'T domicile in the state and make it his primary residence might be the problem. You say you buy NR tags for that reason. Perhaps he should too, unless I misunderstood his first post.
Depending on his Driver's License state, his vehicle registration state, and if he...
Totally forgot about Steve West. He took over the Quinlan Ranch after the sale, and did an awesome job. He is on the outdoor hunting show channel (SOA Adventures) and even has some videos of hunts on the Quinlan. He is a standup guy, and can find you what you want for sure.
I remember that when the troops were leaving Afghanistan, some flew back on chartered commercial flights. The troops were allowed to bring their rifles on board, but could not bring their bayonets aboard because they could be used as weapons..
I do it every year. Chama to New Orleans. I get the meat processed in Chama, and pick it up frozen already processed (cut and wrapped). I put it in ice chests, pack it with dry ice and duct tape the ice chests. We leave Chama the next day and stop halfway home (Quanah, Texas) 12 hours later. Get...
I would suggest the use of a CO (carbon monoxide) detector while using a heater that burns any type of fuel. Inexpensive but worth the cost. Kidde makes one that sells for around $30 that detects carbon monoxide and carbon Dioxide. Runs on batteries or plug it in if you have an outlet.
I have a .340 Weatherby Fiber Mark. I tried the R22, the 7828, the 7828 SSC, and IMR-4350 with the Barnes 225 TTSX. I got mediocre 1 to 2 inch groups. I happened to find some Alliant R19, and worked up a load (87.0 grains) for the 225 Barnes TTSX and they shot the best. Best group was 1/2 inch...
I'm thinking the scope would be best due to light gathering ability (if it does that). The dot, if it's a 2 minute dot would cover 4 inches at 200 yards. Also, you have to worry about the electronics (battery crapping out) on the red dot.
What are you thinking?? With that kind of money, you could pay off a couple college loans that earned someone a gender neutral studies degree. You could also sell your Glocks and Nightforce scopes and get some Joe Biden / Michelle Obama bumper stickers.
But, if it were me, the Staccato would...
Unless I am mistaken, in NM the landowner can sell his LO tags to anyone to be used in that GMU. I know of an outfit in unit 4 that advertised in local shops in Chama to purchase any landowner tags for that unit. As a result, the LO of smaller ranches sold their tags to this outfitter. The...
