    I haven’t read all the posts but my Synmat UL 9 has been flawless for 7 ? years I think it has been. The snozzel bag is priceless for blowing up the pad ! I highly recommend getting it to go with the pad.

    Is my scope too close to my rail?

    If you can get an index card between the scope and rifle you’re fine. Only issue I’ve run into is grass and small twigs getting wedged into the gap and causing a problem. Just look and make sure the gap is clear after brush busting or anytime you drag the rifle through anything.

    Meopta ! If you can afford the Meostars you will be in as good or better than Swarovski SLC performance. Meopta is hard to beat imo.

    Not if it has been pitched on a high spot. If pitched over a low spot that water runs to then you’ll have water and mud in the tent.

    I just touch mine up with a uniformer. A tiny shiny ring around the bottom edge is all I want. I also deburr the flash hole. I do this to all my brass. Since I don’t shoot any factory loads at all it’s done to virgin brass.

    You should be fine at that range. I would never recommend a mono metal bullet. A mono bullet will always have a lower retained energy for equal weight bullets and poor expansion at longer ranges.
