I love mine. By far the best slug gun I have ever owned. Only thing is the clip is not great. Every time I have pulled the trigger the deer died, one shot. I have a 3 to 9 Leupold. It is scary accurate at 100 yards. Carry's like a rifle, I don't miss lugging my 1187 around that is for sure. nice to
2 Cabela’s Duffel Bags. Older model. I couldn’t find them on their site anymore. They are 36” by 18”. Made of a codura type material. Hold a lot of gear. Used to go to deer camp for a week a year then stored away. Looking for $40 each shipped. By both for $60
I have a Savage 220, had an older VRX2 3x9 laying around, Shoots around an inch and a half at 100 yards. If I hadn't already had the scope I would have put one of these on.
Last Christmas my son bought me an electric fleece vest. It has replaced a multiple jackets. Now all I need is Base layer, Heavy shirt, Vest, and a Shell. It has 3 heat settings and the charge will last all day. What I like best is you never have to worry what to bring to the stand, because the...
I have Leupold VR3 3.5x10 50MM on my Accura V2. I love big bell scopes for light gathering. I would never shoot 300 but with this scope easily see out past 150. Also I shoot 250G bullets with 120grains of Buckhorn, this scope has held POI for over 4 years without an adjustment
I use the Dexter's also. Gotta admit though they are not something I would hand down to my kids. Now I use mine in saltwater. I take care of them but they last about 2 to 3 years. Between sharpening and life on the boat they get used up.
My 220 likes the 2 3/4 accu tips. Did not like the 3". I also looked high and low. when they showed up at an online reputable dealer (Midway) I bought 10 boxes. Cost is silly. I was thinking about putting a new glass on my gun but decided against based on the total cost of glass plus ammo to...
If you don't have to move to much and weight isn't an issue. I would go Grunden's. I have a green set that I have worn for years. I even wear the bibs goose hunting layout blinds. Keeps you a lot cleaner.
I like simple. Have had a Filson Strap vest for 15 plus years. One pocket on each side and a game pouch. can change the sizing to accommodate whatever I'm wearing, but I'm more of a minimalist.
