    That homer hunt sounds like a good time! I will be on the other side heading out of sewert on a friends boat for deer. I wanted to do a black bear hunt but we are chasing deer and friend has a brown bear tag so we will see how it go's.

    If that arrow flies great, tuned well and you are happy with it the great. If you want more weight in the future i suggest fill the arrow with weed wacker cord. It will add weight without affecting the spine and give you an extra 50-75 grains. Thats all i did for my arrow for moose.

    As long as your shot is true and you have a sharp broadhead on there, anything over 450 should be just fine.

    Sorry can't, i have never had any Ferrosi. I can say that i have 6 pair of prana that i wear every day and have 2 set aside just to hunt and camp in. They are an early season pant for sure since they are light but they are affordable and do what i need them to do.
