    Filson clothing and gear.

    I have worn Filson clothing for over 30 years. They have definitely gone down in quality the past few years. I’m glad I have a lot of their older clothing. Bemidji Woolen Mills, Johnson Woolen Mills, and Stormy Kromer all still make good stuff though.

    Wyoming Shed Hunting Bill Proposal

    I’m not a Wyoming resident nor do I shed hunt. However, if one doesn’t like their rules then stay away. It’s pretty simple. At least the Wyoming government looks after their own residents’ interests first. One has to respect that.

    I told my wife that she is worth $200/lb venison. She’s worth more than $50/lb lobster. I spend the money on hunting to provide the best for her.

    What to do with inaccurate rifle

    Get rid of it. There are too many good rifles out there that will shoot accurately to waste your time on one that won’t.

    I just returned home from RSA from a Cape buffalo hunt. I handled one of my PH’s Blaser rifles for a minute. I don’t know whether to save for another Cape buffalo or a Blaser R8 now.

    The Microtechs are great knives. I’d recommend them to anyone. The Guardian Tactical OTF knives are incredible too.

    Christensen Actions Suck - Or Just Mine Does?

    The Christensen rifles are accurate, but I don’t care for them because of the actions. Every one of them I’ve seen after fifty rounds feels super sloppy.

    I have hunted Kodiak in November. Good warm waterproof boots are a must. The Schnee’s Granite boots worked flawlessly for me.
