If you're just wanting to pass the test, it's really not to difficult. The air charts are the trickest thing. It's been 6 years since it took the in person test, but I just watched YouTube videos for a couple hours a day for 3-4 days and took it. The rules have evolved some since then though.

That's how I roll! Works fairly well. Heat up some golf ball size rocks in your fire or on top of your stove and stick them in your boots. I try to get them just hot enough that I can't keep ahold of them with bare hands. Rinse and repeat.

Has anyone killed anything with these yet? I've got an elk h7nt coming up real soon and these bullets shoot amazing in my encore, but I'm leaning towards a 290 Barnes because of how fragile the eldx seems to be. But, it's hard to give up the accuracy of the eldx!
